How is everybody on the Fence now? We've been through some very "interesting times" have we not! Have had to change how we do things and work hard at keeping going and staying strong... I hope all Fencers are well. Are you all managing to get shopping in now? I'm hearing that the shops are starting to run out of some food again. And of course, prices are going up8

Can get most things, also able to get delivery slots at the moment, prices are getting scary, already had talk with OH about eating cheaper to make meals.
How are you keeping Mar?

I'm good for now (says she crossing fingers) ty xx. I get Sainsbugs online and the cost is creeping up week by week, although I get mainly the same things all the time. We've been working on eating cheaper too, making food go further and using old fashioned fillers-uppers like soup and tons of veg in a stew. Really stocking up cupboards in case things turn to custard in winter time.

I've noticed prices going up too, some things by 50%. That isn't creeping, that's skipping. We're also trying to cut down a bit and rethink what we have. Cupboards stocked, dog food stocked and garden veg either stocked or in the garden ready for winter.6

They only thing I can't stock for is furry owners food, she keeps going off stuff, as soon as we find something she likes, we get it then she stops eating it, fussy begger! Not helped by her being 20 years old, no fangs and kitty dementia...…..£71.93/ £180.005

I have to make sure dog food is OK. One has a very, very delicate tum and we have to buy the really expensive stuff from the vet - made in France. I'm therefore nervous about continuity of supply when the politicians have mucked everything up.6

I think a lot of the worry is because we don't know for sure what will be unobtainable or scarce until it actually happens. I always wondered what life was like during the war and am beginning to feel that I know now. LOL!

In my Sainsbury's delivery today the bag of sugar I ordered was out of stock and they substituted caster sugar. Fortunately it's only used for baking (now and then) and the boy has a bit of sugar in tea and coffee. I have stocked up on paracetamol in case there are supply issues. One life - your life - live it!7
