Back from a few days away with very iffy WiFi. DH and I are making up for being unable to go away for most of the early summer but quite glad to get back and settle down for a bit -waistline suffers from too much eating outIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0

We had an enormous trailer of logs delivered this morning and my muscles know they've done some work in shifting them into the garden. We've been looking after Pushkin cat for DD1 as she's been on a school trip to Germany since Saturday and comes back late tonight and just when I thought I'd have some free time DD2 rang to see if I can sit for the baby who has a virus and can't go to nursery so I'm away for the next two days as well. I don't mind any of it really but we've been so concentrated on sorting out the new house and starting to clear the new to us allotment that I really wanted a couple of days to do what I wanted this week, Oh well, perhaps Friday might be mine? Saturday is a concert in the morning as DD1 is singing a couple of solos and it's rugby in the afternoon so perhaps Sunday will be mine too? and next week my Zebra is coming to stay from Tuesday to Thursday night when we'll take him home to be there when Daddy gets in with Oreo. I'm going to make sure I take just 1 day and take myself off somewhere for the day, it sounds selfish but I need a little me time to recharge these ageing old batteries of mine.0

We had our logs delivered last week Mrs L, you certainly do know you've done some work but don't they look lovely all neatly lined up?It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0

Most satisfactory Mary, all in a proper log store, we've never been so posh before as we used to store all our wood in builders 'cradles' like they deliver paving slabs in and had some 20 of them with varying degrees of seasoned wood in! Nice feeling though to know they're there!0
