I don't think it's wrong to want 2017 to be over. You've come a long way in the last 12 months! Although it's just a number, the beginning of a new year always seems like a mental re-set, a starting point to do better, reach more goals, etc. I'm certainly looking forward to 2018 being a great year and have already taken some steps towards making it happen. Looking forward to the day when I can say I am living in my own house!
I hope your MIL is ok xx0 -
Afternoon,
Just heard from DH, MiL test results came back and everything is ok (phew). They have put this episode down to her medication again and the doctors have booked her an appointment to come in tomorrow to have them altered/reviewed. I do wish they'd sort it out, she's 87 years old FGS.
Thanks Hairy and Mistyxx

Glad all is OK with MiL, always a worry when something not quite right.
Well done on the amount aid back this year especially when you consider you've had a house move and change of job too.

Hiya,
No news on MiL, DH said he'll ring SiL this evening. If it was bad, she'd have rung by now anyway.
DH has paid TP car bill....£632.86, on the Cap One card. Not as bad as it could've been. So once it clears the balance will go up to £1090.21...I'm aiming to clear the £90.21 by New Year, so we start on a nice round figure and I have it listed separately on my spreadsheet.
I have kind of set myself a mini challenge though....told DH I plan to clear it by next year....so Surveys/Quidco and anything else I'll throw at itWhy do I do this to myself?? :rotfl:

It's FRIDAY!!!!!
Mum and stepdad are on their way down, hubby has gone into Londom for a meeting and then on to the Christmas do this afternoon, I'll pick him up later tonight.
Parents pressies have been wrapped all ready.
One pressie wrapped and card written, need to buy something else and a Jiffy bag then I can get them sent off.
Food shop done and a few extra Christmas bits. Kids are finally done now too.
Toilets have had bleach down them, dishwasher emptied and refilled and is on again. Washer is on and other bits washed up.
DH has had two hampers delivered this morning from subbies.
Finally feeling Christmassy! :xmassign: :santa2:0 -
Just a quick one before I have a shower before the parents and kids come home.
Pressies and cards posted, still need to write a few more cards that need posting too.
Mad dash to tidy the rest of the house and then I'm all set for the weekend.0
