Is this illegal parking?

Hi we have moved into a house and in our deeds it shows what we own which constitutes of the actual house, front garden, rear and a parking spot that is owned and highlighted in the deeds. The house has been empty for 7 months +, and we have just moved in to find a neighbour is using it, we have had a word with them and now have had a note thru door showing a pic of THEIR deeds and THEIR space (different to ours) and saying they dont show we own the plot/space in question, well obviously it wouldnt because its our deeds that show what we own not hers :rotfl:
anyway, after the second conversation and proof of ownership today - if she carries on using our owned space is this illegal?

It's trespass, but that's a civil claim. So you would need to get an injunction and claim any direct losses.

Just pop a note thru the door with a copy of the deeds and saying the car is subject to a £50 daily charge and/or tow away. Might put them off!

Tea and cake, and show them your deeds. No point in getting into a pointless quarrel with the neighbours - their hackles are up for no good reason, so you need to calm them down whilst still getting your point across.

The OP has suggested that the deeds have already been shown, therefore the question is how to assert ones ownership if the trespassing neighbour proves immune to reason and the legal facts of ownership, as well as the output of the W.I.

Ain't no amount of tea and cake gonna convince someone who feels it's their god-given right to park where the f*ck they like, and b0llocks to anyone else....

Don't know the layout, but would a removable or fold down, locking bollard stop her in her tracks?

    Others are available . . .

Try and avoid things escalating so you have to declare a neighbour dispute when you sell.

Invite them round for drinks and comparison of deeds etc. Be nice, smile, although seething inside
