Perhaps I should re-phrase that.....
Good evening everyone,
PN- matching plates my word...... I'm with Farway, mine are all plain white so no matching or otherwise issues and eassy to replace when they break/get chipped.
The oven seal has been replaced again. Chap who came was a wee gem so hopefully this one isn't faulty.
I've still not decided about dinner, it's back to bleeding baltic weather-wise and I want something hot and filling. Will have a rake but I think a baked spud may feature or pasta:)
I've a side of salmon to portion but really CBA doing it tonight and I want to make a decent job of it so that knocks salmon off the choices unless I pop a portion of smoked trimmings out of the freezer and make a quick sauce with some spinach.0 -

A nice belly filling winter warmer.... to try to keep my mind away from the fact I have chocolates and crisps in abundance in the "Xmas food bag" hidden away.
I've already eaten half my 'xmas' chocolate bar and all my water biscuits
Oh and I had mash last night so only one large potato left!
I won't go shopping again till the new year, trouble is I'm eating all the 'good' stuff now, leaving myself with little to be festive with 'I'm sinking in the quicksand of my thought

Oh you got to keep something back to festive with - hide the cheese! Mind you it is "Advent" so a daily treat is almost obligatory;):)I've already eaten half my 'xmas' chocolate bar and all my water biscuits

Wednesday - that's not a dream it's a nightmare !!!
I have prepped the roast potatoes for Xmas day. All open freezing as I type, will go and bag up shortly. Found a bottle of baileys in garage stash whilst looking if need bucks fizz , that has been brought in and put in fridge.
Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.0 -

Lots of cheese with nothing to eat it with!
But I do love cheese so it's not a problem

Could be worth venturing back into a shop for....;):rotfl:

Just don't get the chocolate flavoured stuff, it's a step too far! (My friend got a sample of this http://www.hotelchocolat.com/uk/dry-gin.html and let's just say we weren't impressed:eek:)0
