    P Upside down pudding
    P on top of pizza
P in a nice fruity chicken curry
Sweet/sour chicken or meatballs, heavy on the P
P chunks on sticks with cheese as a "weekend long nibble-fest" kept in the fridge in a tupperware box
P & cheese bread sticks, so really just another word for "pizza but a different shape size" :)
    Various forms of P cake
    P cheesecake
P in a fruit cake style

    :)

Beyond that it is pretty much "more of the same unless you specifically look for something bizarre"

    Thanks PN ☺

Working out how to use it all before it goes off is a challenge! Pizza and curry ideas will work best for me and I could make a cake for work too, it's probably my turn :D

Also bought my first butternut squash and tossed chunks in oil (once I'd figured out how to get my knife unstuck from the bottom of it without stabbing myself to death!) and put in the oven. …….not sure about that….it smelled really good but there didn't seem a huge amount of flavour in the eating. Maybe it was a duff squash (Mr T ) or maybe it was the rice bran oil I used or maybe it needed some spice or more seasoning or maybe I don't like it cooked that way. Certainly not of a mind to repeat it and now have to think of a way to jazz up the large quantity that is left for eating over the weekend.

On the positive side it up my veg count for the day :)

It makes a great soup, have a look on the bbcgoodfood site, I made the curried squash, lentil & coconut one it was so rich and creamy :D

Breakfast needed to be a hot one this morning ... as it's a bit nippy. Settled for tinned toms, scrambled eggs and sausages. Splash of the brown stuff on top. Black coffee.
  • ^ It is cold today!

I just had toast with raspberry jam and a cup of tea.

I have some veggies in the fridge so I might make soup for lunch. Spicy parsnip, carrot and potato.

    Good morning everyone,
    It's decidedly chilly here too:(.
Glad- pineapple slices freeze really well if you are going to struggle to use it before it goes over.

I'm heading to get my haircut at lunch time so no breakfast for me and I'll have a brunch in an hour or so - probably omelette and toast.:) Tonight I think will be the gammon steak Farway put me in the notion for and I think I still have a frozen pineapple ring so that will go together nicely.:)

Plenty here at the moment it seems?

Although why anyone would want to SPAM a cooking thread is quite beyond me....

    Each to their own.

:) It was more a 'moment' than anything else. Having said that I'm sure if I chopped some of it up into tiny little pieces/strips/cubes or similar then it may go reasonably well in something else.

The only sensible idea I had was some mash, add some veg bits to it such as a sprinkling of garden peas, chopped baby carrots and maybe a few sweetcorn, then add said "S" bits into that mix too. Unsure on what it might do to the flavour but I think it might be worth a try. :)

Only other thought I have on that as it will be 'veg and a bit of 'meat' mix' , it may not really go too well with anything else, perhaps I could get a pack of frozen Yorkshires or something and then 'tip the mix' into that maybe. Hmm. Having said that the mix on its own in a bowl should make quite a reasonable quick lunch no doubt.

Brought a cheap 99p 'whiteboard' from the local bargain shop yesterday too, reason it was that price instead of £3 was because there were no magnetic holders or clips with it. Its not quite A4 size its a bit smaller. No problem nothing some double sided sticky tape did not fix. I'm mentioning this as it is now on the fridge door so I can make myself 'food notes' as and when I think of them.
  • no cooked breakfast for me, serves me right for getting it ready last night

Lunch will be same as yesterday, when I unearthed vegan burgers from the freezer, they were from costco and yummy, very nice. Large so I only needed one and had LO cucumber and small tomatoes. I have sweet potato and cumin soup, not very large portions, good as a starter today

I dragged the atlas out the car yesterday and decided to actually see where these houses are, the ones that might catch my eye. Found a nice potential, brand new one, then started digging to see it was a rat run for the lorries going to hinckley and also to the biodigestor, the ones that CBA using the main roads. I am not even going to look as I will be well past it when the hinckley ones stop. Disappointing tbh, I kind of fancy a new build as long as the development is small enough. Back to square one ie sitting on hands and practising being patient
