You have done well with the toms Caron, mine were finished a month ago
Yes it's been a good crop this year but they didn't ripen until much later than yours hence being at the "coo's tail" with picking them.:D I've still one plant in the greenhouse which I'll need to pick in the next week or so. Needless to say the ones I picked yesterday are still in the bowls unsorted :o.

I still fancy fish tonight but I'm still undecided to have it. I'm heading towards cod cooked in butter, lemon and capers with spinach and mash or I might just bung a ready breaded piece on a tray & have with oven chips and peas. I'll need to decide soon :)

Yeah! L1dl had an offer on about 6 weeks ago, Emmental slices - 11 in a pack. Great .... but I really struggled to get through the lot because I stupidly bought THREE packs! I refused to admit defeat as their "BBE" date was approaching and soldiered on just to see the back of the s0ddin' things :)

Mine - M&S - are 11 slices too. Why? Is it just the only number they could think of that would mean any size family couldn't easily divide them?:undecided

Mash is go for dinner, and I have decided to make extra and all set for something fried up with mash over the weekend, like Bubble & Squeak, or just thought of corned beef hash, sounds tasty & now I fancy it

Egg on shredded wheat - no don't remember that. Are you sure?:D

Bubble and squeak is my fave way of getting veg:)

Maybe they come from the same factory? Like the chickens :D

Up at silly o'clock, just not able to get back to sleep

Because of the silly time I have earmarked a fried egg sarnie for breakfast later

No doubt many will come from the same suppliers. I "blame" metric for the 11 slices being prevalent . Most of the packs of sliced cheese I buy are 300g (10.6 oz so each slice is just under an ounce) in the "old days" these would probably have been sold in 10 or 12 ounce packs which gives an odd gram weight. I could of course be completely wrong......;)

    Keema & Spud

    https://s1.postimg.org/89hb70rssf/Keema_Spud.jpg

I'd made the keema 2 days ago, intended to eat it yesterday but I ate out ... so it's been eaten today instead.

That means ..... for later .... there are 4 sausage rolls in the fridge still (pack of 6)... so 2 sausage rolls for tea no doubt!
