  • Maisie, so sorry to hear what happened to your son.
I've been suffering this week with muscle spasm in my back so meal plans have been out of the window. Somehow I've managed to lose 0.6lbs though so could have been worse.
Thankfully the pains in my back are slowly easing so I'm looking forward to a better week this week.

Maisie - how dreadful, I hope he is OK.

I'm aiming for a good day today but will really get cracking tomorrow. I did cycle yesterday in the wind which adds a whole new dimension to it. I live in Yorkshire and it's hilly so cycling is hard but that's how I like it.

Not a good day for me yesterday. My son got beat up when he got of the school bus on Thursday and I had to get that all sorted so last night it was kind of like an unwind from the stress of it all. He is okay but we still have to do police statements etc on Monday. I ended up having a crunchie ice cream, wine and pringles so hate to think how many calories that lot was :D

Sorry to hear about your son a) is he okay? and b) did they get the bar stewards that did it?

0.5lb off for me this week please Knit Witch. I'm thinking that the school holidays got in the way of sensible eating this week. There's a little emotional eating involved too as my sore leg has a date with the tissue viability nurse and her scalpel on Tuesday. I'm a little nervous.

Donna that happened to me at the last funeral that I went to but luckily I managed to leave the main part of the chapel and slid down the wall outside.

Maisie I hope your son isn't too badly hurt.

Right so....back to routine and sensible eating. I've been shopping in case I'm not able to go far after Tuesday so I have porridge oats, plenty of food in the freezer and plenty of home made ready meals in case the nice lady who said she won't hurt me makes my leg sore after all (and why did she say take painkillers an hour before if it's not going to hurt, whimper?)

Another couple of days of bad food choices, school hols are so challenging, much as I dislike my job, I like the structure of eating at certain times. We had fish and chips today as it was our monthly takeaway treat, and very nice it was too!
I have done a bit more walking this week though, round the park and down to the shops on wed and on out feet at Comicon on Friday walked around 18,000 steps, which is a lot for me.
Back to plan tomorrow as back at work now. Dreading weigh in this week though.
Maisie so sorry to hear about your son, hope he is holding up okay (and you too)xxx
Donna hope you are okay x

Maisie - I hope your son is ok and it all gets sorted
Donna - funerals are horrible and stressful, I hope you are recovered

I forgot to weight myself this morning so I will do it tomorrow. I was feeling a bit stressed so had a nice soaky bath. When I got out DH saw me looking glum and said completely seriously "What's the matter, why do you look sad? Have you weighed yourself?"

So if you read in the papers tomorrow that a 53 year old man has been strangled by his wife, you will know who it is!
