Loss 2 lbs
So back to start. I travel again in a months time so need to succeed now.
Sorry about the strange second post about fish curry....I had a migrane coming on.
Today
B. A small apple and 4 plums at the market instead of a bun.
D. Will be sweetcorn fritters and smoked trout.
E. I am just about to take a gentle cycle ride to see how my knee is.
Just had a close look at the calorie used vs. eaten log I use. ....it's approximate but I am not running a deficit! Which rather explains things....must dig out an even smaller plate.0 -
Morning all.
B: berries, lo carb granola, skim
L: leftover firecracker rice and HM split pea soup. Am having the rice early as I am starving!curry night. DD can join as as there is no band at half term so we might go out.

YYI'm shaking my chubby little paw at you all in an effort to let you know that I'd like to join you.
I have 3 stone to lose for health reasons and need to do it via the low fat, low salt route. I'm in the obese category and even though I'm comfortable in my size 18 top and 16 bottoms my poor insides are struggling. Time I gave them a helping hand and it's important to me that I do it the OS way too.
Well done on your loss tiredtrophy
Breakfast - wholemeal seeded toast with Manuka honey (not normally as extravagant but recovering from bronchitis and building up my immunity)0 -
Has anyone else here had their gallbladder removed? I had mine out in 2012 and since then my weight has gone up and it's really hard to lose it. I haven't managed to drop more than 5lbs without it going back on, but I've put on 2 stone overall
Fasting doesn't seem to be an option as I end up passing burning bile (something to do with the new layout inside I guess?)
Anyone else had there's out and managed to lose weight?0 -

My sister did and managed to lose weight afterwards (about three stone). Sadly her love of all things sweet means that she's put it on again and is about to start the battle all over again.
I'm batch cooking healthy meals for the freezer. Yesterday I made spag bol, chilli and pasta bake. Today I have a pan of chicken, chickpea and spinach curry on the hob.
Today's meals :
Breakfast : bacon and egg toastie (small wholemeal bread)
Lunch : Cauliflower soup
Dinner : Curry (that one up there ^) and a little bit of rice.
Snacks : Small piece of gingerbread witch donated by the House Troll, tatty remains of last weeks grapes from the fridge.
Hello dolly84 and fuddle. Welcome to the gang0 -
gloomendoom. I'm glad that someone else has to take drastic measures to lose weight. I can put on weight on most so-called slimming diets and it does mean that I have to be careful to make sure that my small amounts of food are as nutritious as possible.
It's boring, isn't it?
Fuddle, well, you never know who you're going to bump into on this forum, do you? How nice to see you.I believe that friends are quiet angels

fuddle and dandy-candy, you'll have to be very careful that there enough 'goodness' in your food to support your fragile health!
Thought of the word - nutrition. ..but it sounds really pompous when I mean if you cut back too hard your body has nothing to get better with.
Knee is just holding up on a gentle ride.0 -
Well hello monna
I had no idea you were here!
I won't be cutting back on calories tiredtrophy, don't worry. In fact I don't give a hoot about how many calories I consume but my food choices need to improve. Nutrition is absolutely the right word tt.I've been to the library this morning to pick up some reading material about the very subject.
I will be careful, I promise. I've had a scare of late and I won't do anyting detrimental to myself.0 -
I'd like to join in with you if I can. I lost 6 stone in 12 months in 2014 just on my own with sensible eating (no specific diet) and exercise of epic proportions. I have put 1 stone back on since then and need to get that off. I would like that stone to be gone by Christmas and I don't want to spend any money doing it (faddy plans or expensive food etc).
Always good to "see" new faces! Are you wanting to join in on the challenge dolly or just use the thread to keep track (either is fine!)Must use my stash up!0 -
