Hello All
I'm sorry to check in with a gain +1lb
After my week of debauchery I'm not really surprised although you hang on to a slim chance of staying the same.
But it's a new week so I will try to recoup although I'm off next weeks with the kids for half them and I always struggle more when I'm not at work.
B 2 egg omelet, 2 slice of wlm bread
L some scouse my Dad made which was lovely
D tacos although I had rice instead of taco shells, plenty of salad and some salsa.'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess

Usually recipes are for two or four people which is ok if there are two or four people eating it but if there is only ONE person eating and you divide the ingredients by four what do you do with the three quarters of an avocado, or half an egg that's left behind - I do hate waste - but if I make the recipe for 4 and put the extra in the fridge to eat later - 'later' never happens as I snack on it and it disappears. help
I am in the habit of batch baking, so I just cook a big pot of stuff, divide into portions and freeze. If I'm having veggies, I cook two portions of appropriate veggies in the evening - eat half and bag the rest for DH to take with his meal. Two or three times a week I have salad instead anyway and just cook veggies for DH. I also eat corn wraps at least once a week and, especially this time of the year, make lots of soups and throw my veggies in that.
I have half an avocado at a time - either as is or mashed - and find the other half keeps okay for the next day if you leave the stone in, wrap tightly in cling-film and put in the salad drawer. I never have half an egg but assume you mean hard-boiled and I'd use that in a salad the next day for lunch - it'll keep cling-wrapped overnight in the fridge.
Can't help with the calorie part, as I don't count them, but there's lots of sites that give you recipes for four or more that give you the calories if you want.

Good morning everyone :hello:
It's a gain of 2lb for me this morning. It's very annoying and I feel mad with myself but it's a new week and I will just carry on regardless.
My food today looks like this:
b - none
l - tuna salad
d - spaghetti bolognese
s - fruit and milk for teas.
Hope you all have a great day and make good choices xx0 -
I seem to have levelled off at between 64 and 65 kilos as a weight, we're still keeping mainly to what we ate to lose the weight in the first place and staying with low fat/sugar free as much as we can. He Who Knows is running between 82 and 83 kilos but he is 6' 2" and pretty active and down a couple of sizes clothing wise. I always thought that the 'maintenance' phase of weight loss was where the pitfalls were as the relaxing of the eating plan brings the thought that 'I can have some of 'that' now' but we seem to be stabilised and steady at these weights and have been for the past few months. I still don't do breakfast but get pretty hungry by 12 noon and lunch sometimes creeps forwards to then, we're still happy with the home made soups most days and I'm having the odd bit of bread but not every day. Whatever, it seems to be working and I still get such a lift when I can walk into a clothes shop and know a size 12 will fit. Keep going with the weight loss plans my petals, it's worth it in the long run xxx.0

I'd like to join in with you if I can. I lost 6 stone in 12 months in 2014 just on my own with sensible eating (no specific diet) and exercise of epic proportions. I have put 1 stone back on since then and need to get that off. I would like that stone to be gone by Christmas and I don't want to spend any money doing it (faddy plans or expensive food etc).Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

I've not posted for a couple of days (What do you mean, you hadn't noticed?) because I was sick of having posts disappear into the wide blue yonder.
Gloomendoom. me too. even less since I went back onto 5:2, although as I needed a good shake up, atm it's 4:3.
