Good evening everyone :hello:
Still so so hot, I am really struggling and so today I decided to cook a 'roast'. Actually it wasn't as bad as it seems as I did the potatoes in the actifry and the lamb shanks were cooked in the microwave so I only had the hob on for the veg. It was flipping lovely though and really satisfied my craving for a proper cooked meal with gravy
.
My meals today have been:
b - shreddies, milk and sweetener
l - cottage cheese and the final portion of the green bean and apricot salad I made on Sunday
d - lamb shank, roast potatoes, cabbage, broccoli and carrots but I did secumb to a piece of bread for dipping in the leftover gravy
.
On the whole I am pleased with my meals today, I am trying to hit my target of eating 6 portions of fruit and veg a day and so far I have done it.
Hope you have all had a great day xx0 -
I'm with you Dumpling, seems like I've been eating cold food & salads of one sort or another for days.
My sneaky mid-week jump on the scales wasn't looking promising so before the heat got going this morning I reverted to the good old $hred dvd, by the time I finished and showered I was starving and took the first thing to hand - a scotch egg, tomato and dollop of mayo for breakfast
. Thought it best to rein it in at lunch time though and had watermelon, pomegranate and couple of crackers & cheese. 2026 Jan spends = £

Happy to confirm that I have lost that additional 1lb I gained,

Another pound off here for me please Knit Witch. Thanks for your work keeping track of our progress. Keep up the efforts everyone. Just as rewarding as the loss on scales is taking something from wardrobe that's not fitted in ages and now fits comfortably !!!55357;!!!56832;Teamwork means.......never having to take all the blame yourself

Good morning everyone :hello:
I am overwhelmed and delighted to have lost 11 lb this week. I would like to set a new target of 20 lb please Knit Witch.
I haven't planned today's food properly yet but I am probably going to make a paella for tea providing the shopping gets delivered. I also need to think about different lunches that don't involve bread, I feel a happy hour browsing recipe sites coming on.
Hope you all have a great day today, take care xx0
