    Morning,
Reporting in with a 1.5lb loss please KnitWitch. Quite pleased with that. Have just had lean bacon and a dry fried egg for breakfast. I'm out to lunch with friends today so will have a quick look at the menu before I go to see what's what. None of us drink which is a bonus!
    Have a good day all,
    Coxy

All the lurverly bruising came out this week on the thigh (Ye Gods and Little Fishes it was BAD ), weight is hurtling up thanks to the cocktail of tablets so I am not counting until I am off them all (sometime this week I hope!), seeing the Quack again not next week but the week after (come to thing about it I need to stay on the meds until then )

Managing to walk a bit though (last week the best day I managed to get just over 200 steps in :o)

When I fell down the stairs my bruising turned into haemotoma so not trying to do too much is probably a very good thing. I think I've mentioned the rest of the story on here at some point. I still have an open wound but it's about the size of a penny now, not the size of the top of a baked bean can. I hope you feel better soon.

Knit Witch that sounds horrendous - please rest up xx

whiteguineapig - mix 35g of value oats, a mullerl!ght (any flavour) and frozen fruit (about 150g) in a container and put in the fridge over night. The fruit will defrost and create juice, so all you need to do is stir it around in the morning. I'm not going to lie - it doesn't look pretty. I'm sure any yoghurt would do but this is an old SW recipe.

Today I met friends for lunch at The Ivy (get me!!) and I had grilled chicken salad (quinoa, radichio and pomegrate) and then apple tart with flambe calvados for pud. No alcohol, just soda water and a mint tea. It was lovely to catch up with them.

I'm still quite stuffed so will probably have the remainder of the chilli bean soup for tea.

I was obviously very fortunate that my falling down the stairs a month ago only resulted in a little bruising and a stiff muscle....I cried from surprise!

    As expected STS

Today I did 49, 000 steps walking along the ridgeway in that cold wind....so had a hearty supper with no calorie counting...lots of veg, a lamb chop, modest glass of wi ne and som e blueberries with plain yog.

    Stay warm.
  • Thank you, I will investigate this I think, I struggle with breakfast

    Today I have had:

B - 3 rashers lean bacon, dry fried egg
L - wholemeal sandwich thin with scraping of marg and 25g mature cheese, pack of crisps
D - baked salmon (in a parcel with lemon and pepper), jacket potato, green beans and broccoli
S - milky bar 12g, 3 satsumas (using up last weeks stock)

Managed to get out in the garden for a couple of hours today which was good exercise, albeit cold!

D - hm mini toad in the hole, spoonful of mash, carrots, green beans
    S - 2 opal fruits, flump, 2 satsumas
