Hi all,
Been ages since I did the grocery challenge but I think it would be good to get back to it if I'm ok to join in!
We've been budgeting at £80 per week for about 4 months (covering food, general toiletries, cleaning products, etc. for 2 adults and 3 kids - 16, 8 & 1), only using cash and have saved over £100 towards a rainy day by being under budget! I want to take it up a notch now. We're away til the 10th of August so want to start there to 31st at £70 per week - £210 for the month

Ok can you please pop me down for £130
For this month? It will run from now until 25th August - I am paid 4 weekly so it's a bit of a pain. I may change how I work it but will try this way for now. It will include food for myself, DS (nearly 11) and boyfriend who doesn't live with us but does come for dinner sometimes, all toiletries and household cleaning, alcohol etc. It WON'T include a case of cider that I need to replace (£9) or any dog food which I buy in bulk every 4-6 months.
I used to be approx £20 a week so this could be completely unrealistic!! I have also got into an awful habit of buying dinner at work 3 nights a week (between £3 and £5 a pop) and that really has to stop!!
Eta I'm also trying for at least 3 NSD a week which I'll keep track of in my sig!Emma

Hi - I'm a newbie, but would like to join up. Will include all groceries (not eating out) and toiletries/household cleaning etc. Will go for £280 for the month as a starter as I am not 100% sure where I come out usually.2025 decluttering: 3,491🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

Hello,
I would like to put myself down for £300 for the month. I am hoping to get it a lot lower than that but I'm only just learning about cooking and what to eat ect ect0 -
Hi there. Please count me in for £200 for August. Thank you.0

Will be doing my 1st shop of the month at the weekend. Very pleased with how the annual budget is going which means I have a bit of wriggle room now the uni hols are here and school is out. Always plenty of extra mouths to feed as their friends call (and I love it)
Hoping for a good harvest from the garden to keep veg and fruit bills down. Rasps and blackcurrants are plentiful and the freezer is full for crumbles and pies over winter. I'm going to try making jam when I've bought extra sugar. French beans and courgettes look like they will provide the next glut.
Sainsburys have kindly sent me £36 of vouchers (£9 x 4) if I go back to shop with them for the next few weeks. Of course, I shall as that is free money to stock up with.
Will check back in later.0 -

Please can you put me down for £250
