Oh, !!!!!!, this is a petty dispute, not some big financial scandal you're involved in. I can't be typing out any more times the unreality of your concerns. Please do some forum searches on posts which include the terms 'credit ratings', 'credit trashing', 'unsatisfied CCJs' to assuage your fears.

Court injunctions. Oh jeez, you're watching far too much telly!

    And it isn't a 'fine'!

    Like what? Deportation? Execution? Flogging?

    Get a grip! :rotfl:

    This!

Why do you think it costs the defendant more money?

You seem to assume that every case goes that way, most do not go further than some random threatogram letters - and if it does, we win over 99% of defended cases here.

You would be supporting the scam if you pay. Not something any of us are happy about.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Hi,

I received a 'UKPC' parking charge yesterday in Liverpool. There were signs on the meter saying you had to 'Phone and Pay' to pay for parking, which I did and I was well within my limit - In hindsight it wasn't clear if the 'Phone and Pay' was intended for on street parking or the parking in the retail parking directly adjacent. I came back to a UKPC ticket asking for £100 (£60 within 14 days) as "Parked without clearly displaying a valid pay and display ticket". I obviously have proof that I paid via a mobile app, but reading through the threads have shown they immediately reject any attempt to argue. I haven't made any contact with UKPC yet.

It's a company car (my own company) so I am down as a named driver. Can anyone offer any advice on best way to move forward?
    Thanks in advance.
