I think this is a good idea. I've started hampers for my family (mum, 2 sisters, dad, BIL, in laws (joint gift) and grand-mothers) but I'm stuck for some cheap little space fillers.

Seeing what other people have got will inspire me.

Well, I just bought 'Eating for Victory' £9.99 from the National Trust shop. It's a nostalic collection of original facsimile leaflets ...to show how millions of Britons made do with food shortages during the second world war. (I got it for mr wing to give to me - better value if I choose my own presents).
Anyway, I think it's really good, and I think if you know anyone who's up for a cooking challenge, this book and a supply of ingredients could make an interesting variation on a food hamper. Particularly if you have key stage 2 children at home who can help you prepare as littlewing seems to know quite a bit about rationing
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

I'm in the same boat as you! I don't have much of a clue for most of my family. I'm doing 5 hampers, 1 for DH, 1 for Dad, 1 for SIL & Hubby, 1 for FIL & his gf and 1 for MIL. These will probably be main presents.

Mum - How about a nice cookbook like Nigella's new book
Dad - A DVD boxset of his favourite series or films
Mum-in-law - Have you seen those cushions you can get with your family's photo's on them? If you could source a photo of your hubby when he was younger I'm sure that would be a lovely gift. http://www.photobox.co.uk do them
Dad-in-law - Perhaps a gardening set if he's into it, boots do some nice sets
Sis - I guess this depends on her age, but pampering and make up gifts always go down a treat!
Sis-in-law & hub - Last year I bought my own SIL & Hubby a cordless phone, would this appeal to yours?
Niece 1 & 2 - This depends on their ages again, but if they are young, do they collect Bratz dolls or anything like that? If they are in their teens thenmake up or gift vouchers would be great!

    I hope this helps!
