  • MUM & DAD a joint gardening basket with some wine and pampering stuff in there too.
    MIL pamper hamper of dove products and a book voucher.
    FIL also getting a gardening hamper slightly smaller as his is just for one.

    SIL Chocoholics Hamper
    DD1 & 2 both getting craft hampers & bath hampers identical to save on the arguments. as for main presents i haven't got a clue yet.

    FRIEND home made toffee vodka and home made chocolates.
    Plus they are all getting a "pot o gold"
    My mum and MIL will be getting a box of hugs off the girls too with some lill gifts hidden inside.

    DH : Food for Free book by Richard Mabey, maybe a mushroom ID-ing book and some kind of 'foraging kit' (lol dunno what that might be!) along with a voucher book of personal stuff :D and some sort of gardening / pamper kit (I do the planning, he does the digging, so I have to look after him!)

    DS (3) -Remote COntrol Mater from Cars (£5 at the boot fair and still boxed), Play money as he's forever stealing our pennies, Some Dr Who pyjamas, Finding Nemo duvet cover & curtains, Thomas annual, a christmas sticker book, The Gruffalo Puzzle book, and a few little bits for his stocking

    Mum : A book on Pavarotti, a lottery ticket, and a winter warmer hamper (maybe a pamper/smellies thing as well)

    Sister : Indian food cook book, lottery ticket, hot chocolate set, and a movie night in hamper! :)

    Nephew (15) teenagers cookbook, spices & ingredients, wrapped in an apron

    Nephew (3) Dr Who Pyjamas, Christmas sticker book, Thomas Annual

    Mother in Law - 'cooking & loving' cook book (as she cooks with her partner a lot)

    Sister-in-law : movie night hamper
    brother-in-law : 'how to do everything' book

    Father-in-law : ?
    step-mother-in-law!: pamper hamper with chocolate

    step-sister (3) : Lazytown stephanie pom poms!
    step-brother (3 months) : free fisher price mouse toy

    nana-in-law : sweetie box (with added biscuits!)

    aunt & uncle-in-law : foodie hamper with miniatures as well as some home-made chutneys etc

    I've not actually made the hampers yet, but I have got a few mugs and got the cellophane for wrapping them, so I at least feel okay that I *mostly* know what to get people..

    Sis-in-law - Dermalogica Gift Set, Calendar of son, Notebook with sons pictures on, Pink Parker pen and case, Green and Blacks Chocs, Clinique Mascara and Clinique Lipstick

    Sis in law's hubby - Notebook of son again with pictures on, Blue parker pen with case, Nivea skincare range.

    Nephew - Iggle Piggle personalised door plaque, Iggle Piggle t shirt and jeans, bath towel.. not too sure what else yet..

    am doing my sons handprints on canvas.

    Just a thought, got this from my daughters playschool one mother's day, treasured it ever since! They got a handprint of Ceira's, took a picture of her doing the handprint and positioned it in the middle of the hands, then underneath they put the rhyme 'these hands are here to hold you, these hands are here to play, these hands are here to hug you, every single day'. They then laminated the whole thing (A4 sheet with handprints, photo and printed out verse glued on). She's nine now and I still have it framed in my sitting room!

    And I still need to knit the tank top, but I have been given the wool.

    10 pairs Socks £4 (Yes, he really does need them! Primark;))

    Based on the above I have bought gifts to a total value of £251.56 but paid less than £200 cash out of a total present budget of £300. And most of that budget was made up of cash back, surveys & other "free" money:j

    Anything leftover from the total Xmas budget gets put away in our special "Lapland trip" savings account:j
    Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p

    In England we have Mothering Sunday & Father Christmas, Mothers day & Santa Clause are American merchandising tricks:mad: Demonstrate pride in your heirtage by getting it right please people!
