I second (or third, or one-hundredth, wherever I come in this thread!) the suggestion to enable Martin's blog as an RSS feed. I find RSS feeds really useful for quickly browsing a number of sites.

    Hi Martin,

I think blogging could be a great medium for you to use - it is changing the way journalism/news is published and distributed dramatically.

You should add an RSS feed too to make this highly accessible.

I keep forgetting to read it

I usually click a button in my rss reader, and all the blogs I usually read that have new entries show up with a star.

I know RSS is probably a minority thing now, but if you want people who read blogs to make you one of their regular reads...

EDIT: and with IE7 lots more people will start using it (found this story while looking through my RSS feeds tonight)
  • Hi there,
Need some help with cash flow.
I need to raise £6000 for a new roof, is there a credit card that will allow a cash advance of this amount.

    Thanks

    Hi Martin,

I've just been reading your blog about hospital telephone costs and I think car parking is also worth a mention. At our 'local' hospital, (a round trip of approx 14/16 miles), it costs £2.50 to park. This is an all day charge, regardless of whether you are paying a flying visit of 1/2 hour or longer. I am not sure if you were to visit twice daily whether or not you would have to pay twice? However, if you have a relative who is long stay, the costs soon mount up. A staggering £17.50 a week at the least!

Susy it is the same at my local hospitals. It is cheaper to go by bus than to go by car.

Great blog - like the idea. Does anyone know if the case that has just been awarded to Lloyds TSB was presided over by a judge who may have been a bank manager or similiar?
My guess is that there is some relation in the mix!!
