I love something sweet after dinner, so most days I will have a couple of pieces of fruit with a teaspoon or two of nutella. A 15g portion is about 85 cals, fruit is already part of my diet, so it's all good. I don't feel deprived of chocolate and my sweet tooth is satisfied.I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.

Up until recently, I mostly snacked on chocolate...I'm a self-confessed chocolic and I'm trying to kick the habit of having at least 2 chocolate bars a day!
For my snacks at work I've been taking an oat bar, crisps and some carrots/breadsticks with hummous. However, I'm starting to get bored. It doesn't help though that I'm vegetarian and a very fussy eater!
What other tasty things are there to snack on (not nuts), that are convinient to take to work/in the packet/quick to prepare?SPC '21 #0750 -
I don't like nuts but will eat pistachios they are on offer in lidl at the mo.
Dried apricots are yummy and can be eaten straight from the bag.
Dried fruit in general, raisons, bananas ect
You could make some fairly cakes, i can knock some up in 5mins with 20mins in the oven. You could be healthy and add grated carrot/beetroot to them.0 -

Just discovered Organix Goodies organic toddler snacks. Organic with no added sugar or salt, no additives, and usually only around 10 carbs the bag. The biscuits though low in carbs are really undunkable. I like the cheese and herb puffs best.
Lindt Excellence 90% cocoa dark chocolate 14g carbs the whole 100g bar but it usually lasts at least two days.
If I wasn't low carbing for my diabetes I would probably snack on organic raisins and bananas, like my husband.0 -
