I'm in a similar situation to you, with virtually no coverage on 3 or EE.

All the other MVNOs on the Vodafone network are very expensive for PAYG. I'm going to try O2 PAYG, although their coverage is not as good as Vodafone around here, it may be ok.

Don't forget to tell Talkmobile that you want any unused credit back as a cheque.

For anyone going for the free voda SIM via TalkMobile:-

IT COMES PRE-LOADED WITH £10 CREDIT....

but you must get it through Talkmobile....if you're such a light user it'll still be worth it even with the 30ppm call charges..
    ......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple :D

I suggest you read this before recommending a service that is closing down on 31st August.

...and I suggest you know the facts before suggesting others don't - IF you're an existing Talkmobile payg customer, they have teamed with voda to give you a free voda-branded sim with £10 on it TO REPLACE YOUR Talkmobile ONE, THE SERVICE OF WHICH IS ENDING IN AUGUST THIS YEAR...but it only applies if you go through Talkmobile to get said sim....

If you need Vodafone coverage and are a medium user

Lebara have an ongoing payg bundle offer:

2GB data, 1000 UK mins, 1000 UK texts plus 1000 international mins for £8

It needs a credit/debit card (or PayPal) but no credit check etc
    Only Vodafone 2G/3G (like TalkMobile)
