Brilliant !! That's annoying...
Thanks Keith. Looks like I will have to sit tight then and make sure everything is in order with paperwork.
I have also sent the other side a letter outlining I will be seeking punitive costs not much (OR NOT AS MUCH AS IT FLIPPING SHOULD BE !!) but I'm not sure when to ask the court or judge about that can anyone shed light on that request and the timing etc ?
Do I include that request in the bundle submission ?0 -

Not really. It can be done with 3 days to go along with a Skeleton Argument if you need one. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
The FOI request information that was obtained from the justice department said that many many cases were dropped by cel but not all of them and it is that element of doubt that is troubling. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Does that make sense to you ? Have I got it right that they are contesting some cases ?0 -
But that's from 2014, not up to date. Of course they appeared at some hearings, they would do, if naive people (not on forums) filed useless defences they'd rub their hands in glee.
I think we've also seen a pointless report of a pointless CEL claim where a bad defence was allegedly put in (for whatever pointless reason) and a pointless lay rep turned up, but no-one cares about such pathetic ''look at me'' blogs.
I think people have sussed where the best advice is, and it is here, and we never see a CEL case EVER go to a hearing.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It was the newest information that I could find. I'm going to do my own when this is finally over. It's a national disgrace what they are doing.
Thank you couponmad. I feel a whole lot better. You are a star.
I'm going to try and control my spinning and get the bundle together this weekend and submit my punitive damages claim together. I might need some help with how to submit that. At least I will be ready if they go to the wire. Thanks again.0
