Hi not having much look with that search. Brings up all manner of threads many not related to cel and non discontinued not sure what I am doing wrong.
Just by way of informing I have already submitted a defence last year via mcol and for some bizarre reason mcol seemed to loose the case for months and not submit anything so it looked like it was dead!!
But it has now come back with plenty and is now listed for trial soon.0 -
You didn't change the search to SHOW POSTS (advanced search).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks I understand that many cel cases get discontinued before trial. I am concerned that my trial has been shifted from one venue to a much bigger one. I'm Assuming rightly or wrongly that this might be a different scenario in point and one I need more specific advice on. I am not sure if I can be more specific on open forum.
Any thoughts ?0 -
Waiting for a space is not parking, so thinks this judge

Parking Eye know this and therefore they are deliberately trying to defraud you.
This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.
Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and another company have already been named and shamed, as has Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each year). They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct
Hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned.
The problem has become so rampant that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the HofC recently.

@OP - all CEL cases follow the same path if defended robustly, and there are loads of threads carrying very similarly worded winning defences that you should unashamedly plagiarise.
I would read into the shift from one court to another as entirely unrelated to your specific case. The courts are under huge pressures and the shift is quite probably linked to sharing the burden out a bit.
Is the change of venue (not that you're likely to ever get there) significant in distance terms from where you live compared with the original venue? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
