Don't bother communicating with them - that way you've confirmed to them who and where you are.
Just send back the prepaid return envelope to them (ensuring your name or any reference numbers are not on it) and fill it up with rubbish. I find that milk bottle tops in the past weigh a bit more than paper which should cost them more to receive. Serves them right.0 -
Holy smoke! I got one in the post today too, though not specifically addressed to me; it is addressed generically to "the Occupier". (Does that mean my home address is perceived to be a low-income place??)
Must go and check to see if Martin is still offering a bottle of bubbly for sending in a copy of the brochure. Honestly, the contents are scandalous.
I love the sending back some (heavy) rubbish idea! Lateral thinking at its best! Alas, I don't have anything to hand right now. Though I do have a Cap1 12mths interest free BT flyer. I am going to send one back to Vanquis. The APR quoted on the Cap1 brochure is only 13.9% ..... hee hee

Rock, I think everyone thought you were joking when you asked the first time, but by asking a second time I fear you are not.THE_ROCK84 wrote:can anyone forward me leaflet please???
Do not apply for this credit card. They will charge you anything up to 64.9% APR. Nobody needs a card that desperately.
Just maybe you are somebody who has a bad credit rating but has now sorted out their problems, maybe you have found most companies refuse you because of your past history, maybe you only want a card to do small transactions to improve your credit rating. If so... still don't get this card!!! Instead get this Capital One card which guarantees acceptance (unless you are currently bankrupt or on a fraud database) and the APR is 29.9%. Pretty bad but still a whopping improvement on Vanquis.0 -
That is a ridiculous rate, surely there must have been an error during the printing run, that is just scandalous.0

Why don't you just voice call them. Saves waiting for a leaflet

The difference between the Cap1 (classic card) and Vanquis CC is that the latter doesn't require a possible security deposit of upto £200.
Some may take the view that given they are going to pay the balance off every month the APR could be 100% for all they care!
I'd apply for Barclaycard Inital before the Vanquis card tbh
