I posted about this card a while back. Someone car into me car showroom and wanted to pay for a deposit for a car on this card. I had never seen it before and was tempted to tell them i was not willing to deal as the sports car in question was not something someone who owned this card could afford to pay for (in my opinion). I know its Provident and i would steer clear. I would ring them and ask them where they got my details and why they think you could be interested as this card really is for people who have no other option

I remember you posting about that. Did you sell them the car in the end?

Why not sell the application form on e-bay, you could make a few quid :rotfl:

I actually took the deposit off them - they came in and paid it in cash in the end. Then i did not hear anything off them for a day or two. I rang them too see what was goingon and lo and behold they did not want the car. I told them ok, i would give them a week to reconsider but no matter what they decide the deposit was still mine.

They never got back to me - another couple of dreamers i guess

I received one of those application forms. However I know my credit rating is excellent and this has been confirmed by my bank giving me a personal loan of £25000
    at 6.1 percent recently.

59% APR! They're having a laugh! The cheque-cashing shops you find near dodgy council estates are cheaper than that.

Jon S> I wouldn't be offended. I received a mailshot from them too, despite having available credit three times my salary. It's currently in my dustbin, but I haven't emptied it yet.

Incidentally - does anyone know - the annual fee is included in the APR, isn't it?

If so - then the lower your credit limit is, the higher the APR will be.
    :p

I've had a few - despite having perfect credit. They always go straight in the bin ;)

Usually get them soon after getting credit reports, along with other card offers.
