I don't understand SW at all. How can anyone lose weight with potatoes, rice and pasta as free foods?

We do need carbs, but not as much as we fancy.

The important part of the slimming world plan is the third speed. If a third of what you eat is speed food, there is a limit to the amount of other food you are able to eat.

By the way folks, don't be offended if I haven't liked your post. I will like them as I update the spreadsheet. Going to have to be organised, and you'll all have to nudge me if I miss something :D

Absolutely! I've never found it a problem having loads of chips or other carbs (realise it's different for those with health issues ). What matters is that you maintain a balance with at least a third of Speed and lean protein alongside.

I managed a quick shop in Aldi to see us through to the weekend (mostly I'll be eating out). Lamb Rogan Josh was on yellow sticker. Guess what we're having for dinner?
Having eaten out for 3 weeks I'm easing myself back gently.
