Sunshinemummy I live in Yorkshire and I am a Frugal Southerner! Although as I have lived her for over 15 years which is 12 more than anywhere else I have lived I guess I am on the way. Although my Grandmother had lived in a place for 2 months short of 50 years before she died and she just missed out as being classed as a local!
Abbafan Congratulations! Hope you win.
dawyldthing Well done on your Loss. Your starting weight was the same as mine. Would love to get to your target weight but I wonder if I would look like a stick insect. Hope all goes well with your mum's procedure.
kathrynha Welcome back.
Drank a whole bottle of White wine yesterday it was to die for! Hazel had one as well! Sat in the back garden in the sun smoking a joint of Beef and Pork on the BBQ. We had been busy in the morning doing some gardening and a quick 5 mile walk made room for it!

Hi ladies and gents, hope you're all having a wonderful bank holiday!
Belated birthday wishes Beanie _party_ hope you had a fab day x
Been to a lovely food festival today and had some lovely breads, half a hotdog with OH and found some wonderful german teacakes for 70 calories each so calling them 3.5 syns, unfortunately I've had more than 1!!:o fingers crossed I've done enough walking to offset it somewhat, although I think I was pretty well behaved considering there were so many delicious things everywhere!
Welcome back Kathryn

Motivated - same for the swimming. I've had gym membership for years, go to Aqua class on a Tuesday but don't use it that much - haven't had my monies worth for a while. I am determined to start going.
Merlin - no I know, same here. I think I was 12 when I was last at the weight as mum used to enthuasitically put the keep fit DVDs on and encourage me to do it before a school trip to Germany - it did work but never kept it up sadly. I honestly can't imagine what I'll look like but I'd love to get there
Thank you for star of the week - I thought I'd struggle to get to the -10lb but happy with how it's going.:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

There is a difference between living in Yorkshire (achieved status), and being born in Yorkshire (ascribed status).......but given you were not born here, your are as perfect as could be!

Hello again everyone! Long time no post.
I have to admit I have been lurking. The reason being is that only a few of my nearest and dearest (very few- partner, mum, sister and best friend) and of course my Group have known that I have been doing SW this time. This is because I start off with such good intentions then i might get to a stone (sometimes not even that) and then just get disheartened and give up. And of course because I have gone on about it on social media everyone gives me a hard time.
So this time I decided to just get my head down and get on with it until after I had my stone award which is what I have done! I really badly need to lose 2 stone before my graduation, which is on November 16 at the Sage in Gateshead.
I started SW 6 weeks ago on a six week countdown. I joined a totally different group as a fresh start- after someone made an insensitive comment about my alopecia in my last group I no longer felt comfortable there. I've also switched to a morning group which works so much better for me. I religiously filled in my food diaries for the full four weeks and always as I ate, I've had no cheat meals at all (I always used to have a cheat meal after WI and my mum said that was probably what was wrecking my weight loss and I didn't believe her but I think she was probably right- my new consultant warned us about that and it really hit home) I haven't done a lot of Body Magic I will admit- I sprained my left knee about 8 weeks ago and it has been slow healing, plus I had a nasty fall on Friday and really hurt my right knee so movement has been limited- I just made sure I ate masses of speed- and it's paid off. I have lost 15lbs (1 stone 1lb) in 6 weeks.
I have 13lbs left to lose and 11 weeks to do it in, and I am quietly confident. I lost a very unexpected 3.5lbs today- my usual WI is Wednesday morning but I've got an appointment on Wednesday so I went today instead. I got my 1 stone award, Slimmer of the Week (that's twice in the space of three weeks!) and Slimmer of the Month which is something I never got before. I've been trying loads of new things- I bought some scales and asked my partner to help me weigh out Oats to make overnight oats, I also ordered some of the Skinni range- burgers, meatballs, black pudding, haggis, square sausage- which were all amazing!
I'm already seeing NSV's- I went away to Liverpool in the week and met up with an old friend. They met me pretty much straight from the train so I got changed before I got on the train- I had packed my bag pre SW and the only top I had absolutely drowned me and wouldn't stay up
luckily, there was a Yours Clothing right next to the train station so I dashed in and found a gorgeous pink strappy blouse in a size 22 which fitted like a glove- in a top like that I would have needed at least a 26 before so I was thrilled
Anyway enough of my ramblings
Today's menu was:
B: HEXB HiFi light (x2) apple, peach, can of NAS tropical crush
L: Ham, pastrami, pasta, huge mixed salad (lettuce, onion, tomato, carrot, cucumber, celery, spring onions, pickled onions, gherkins) easy peeler, HEXA Alpro choc soya drink + 1.5 syns, sparkling water
T: Spaghetti bolognaise (made with 5% fat mince, passata, onions, peppers, mushrooms, mixed herbs) wholewheat spaghetti (I had courgetti but the other half had dished up the spaghetti before I could tell him I didn't want any!) Fab ice lolly (4 syns)Litre of sparkling water
S: Crisps (6.5 syns) peppermint tea
Syns: 12

I had weigh-in tonight, and have reached my target range, for the first time since October 2015.I lost that final pound, and, actually,I thought I would be feeling more excited .
I had reached target (for the second time ) in October 2015,and because Christmas was coming, and we were about to move to inlaws' while our house was being extended (5 months),I stopped going to group, started eating badly again.
When I started going back to group in April 2017,I had regained 2.5 stone :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:.I felt awful, looked awful, and knew it was time to do something about it.
I am thrilled to have had a loss every week except 2 maintains, but now, tonight,it all feels a bit meh,and "Now the hard work starts".Also,my partner and 2 (of the 4) kids are away at the moment,so there is nobody really in real life to share it with.
I can't remember why I stopped going to group after reaching target the first time, because I do enjoy group, but this time around I think I must make it a vow that I will keep going to group every week.
This week I hit the top of my target range ( a little disappointment there-I was expecting to lose a bit more to get comfortably into target range). The aim is to have lost about 2 more pounds so I have a bit to "play with" while celebrating my 50th birthday in the middle of next month.SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76
