I've just heard her big boss talking and apparently he has been arrested for driving without due care and attention. And he was definately on his mobile.

Scary isn't it, she's in intensive care, but that is apparently standard.

Thanks for the update, I hope the driver gets license taken off him.

Just had another update, She's in Bristol.

Good set of broken ribs and is being sent for a CT scan to make sure there is no damage to her head.

So looking good and someone has just got me a bar of chocolate as a cheer me up! I'm not going to eat it yet.

What an afternoon! Snaggles - thank you for making me laugh (I once turned up for a driving test a day EARLY - was the last time I was early to anything)!

Lucy, I hope your colleague makes a full and fast recovery; I can't help wondering how lucky is she to have a fight with a bus and win (if you see what I mean - it could have been so much worse)? Fingers crossed about the CT scans being clear!

IA - stuff the savlon (and chocolate and biscuits). I'd be having a LARGE vodka after being nettled!

I'm stuck at work for another hour and half before the salsa dancing starts, but hopefully it'll be a short day tomorrow!
