Apparently the Doctor and paramedic's think she will be fine, we have just spoken to her manager who is going to check again at 3, but they think she has been really lucky.

First guesses are that the bus driver was on his mobile.

That's so good. Were they upset with you?

No, luckily we didn't have an appointment, it's just a drop-in clinic, so you just turn up and wait your turn if you want to be seen. The next one is a week on WEDNESDAY so I will try to remember to turn up on time to that one! :D

A friend did that with her dentist and they were so angry with her! I think she nearly lost her place!

Oooh yes, my dentist is like that too - I once didn't go because I'd had a car crash and she STILL charged me!!! But with the baby clinic, you don't even need to let them know you're going, it's just for weighing etc, so if you turn up, they'll see you, and if you don't, it doesn't matter.

I've just heard her big boss talking and apparently he has been arrested for driving without due care and attention. And he was definately on his mobile.

Scary isn't it, she's in intensive care, but that is apparently standard.
