It's a nerves thing and I talk waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too fast when I'm nervous.

It's hard to explain briefly but we are going to be putting Health Centres on the Secondary schools so they can access a nurse or services like drug information or sexual health practioners, all on the school site, so we bring the services to them.

I have to introduce the idea to half the school (other half tomorrow) and get the kids interested!

    Hello all!

IA - any news on the kitten?
PAP - sorry to hear you're not feeling well, take it easy and get better soon x Same to Toto.. and Pinkkat! Seems to be a lot of bugs going about at the moment.
    Gemmzie - good luck!

Hmm, Facebook, I joined and then quickly removed myself from the search facility due to some bad previous experiences with people contacting me through things like Friends Reunited etc. I like being only visible to people I want to see me.. but on the other hand I don't have many friends :rotfl:

I'm a natterfart by trade but am a little worried at the speed they originally sent the results when I was lead to beleive it takes much longer (oh, and the interest the sonographer appeared to take in one of her kidneys   ) ~ hopefully I'm just being an over anxious mum

    Thanks again
I really hope everything is okay with your daughters results and that they don't keep you waiting too long hon. Ring and pester them again if you haven't heard anything by after lunch, it's awful when you're waiting and worrying about something like that. xxx

tig, Doctors ALWAYS cover their backs and will say 2 to 3 weeks (just in case the secretary or typist is on two week's holiday). In reality ultrasounds and x-rays are often typed either that afternoon or the next morning and sent out immediately. (CT, MRI and other complex scans take a bit longer because often you need to find a consultant radiologist to dictate a report)!

Fingers crossed your GP will get his act together and ask for the results to be faxed. Cat.x

to be honest, most of my Facebook friends are MSE'ers and also my 2 sisters!! Only had the 2 people who contacted me today who are from the past.

think that might say something about people not wanting to be my friend after I've moved away from them........goes off to sob.....

Snap! My friends consist of DF, DS 1 & 2, my little bro & his partner & my big bro. I'm wary of being found by people I don't keep in contact with.

Am off work today, going to meet DF in Warrington later for a nice meal out (free vino voucher for Loch Fyne, and his meal on his works expenses, so DFW too :D ) & staying in his hotel room, then tomorrow I'm meeting 2 of my brothers for coffee & my best mate for lunch, before trundling over to Stockport to watch Charlie Hodgson & his mates at Sale Sharks play Wasps!!

Just made a huge pan of scrummy chicken & veg soup for the freezer, got to wash up & iron before scootling for the train.

Gem, focus on someone about 2/3 of the way back, and talk to them, it usually works for me ;)
PAP, hope you feel better soon :grouphug:
IA, well done, that's another lump gone :j
TigTag, hope the results are in DD's favour :grouphug:

Have a good day all :D
