PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. DoozerG,
Sorry to hear you've been upset by some @rsehole with rocking horse !!!!!! for brains -
but I saw this and thought of you:
When you're down and troubled
And you need some loving care...

I so genuinely appreciate the comments of so many people, but you were the idiot that got me hooked on this place in the first place and made me welcome; so I hold you entirely responsible! :kisses3: I appreciate the lyrics too, for knowing what amuses me
I'm fine now, happy old Doozer, up for a good time, not entirely bothered and realising that I was just ground down; not easily offended; never happened before. I'm still happy for a scrap with anyone who seeks reassurance over sensible advice. No big ego, genuinely !!!!!!! speechless over the kindness of 'strangers' actually (I'm entitled after reading a Gordon Ramsay book!)
Fine, not in small part to so many of the posts offering support and advice. I'd genuinely like to hit the thanks button of so many people several times but there are just a couple I'd not because of who they are, and so I'd rather not leave them conspicuous in their absence, iyswim.
So many of you are just fantastic people.
Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Well I think you rock doozer.
And, they do say you know you've made it when you get a stalker, I guess we could say the same for an abusive pm... brolly bum missed me out too and I did bait him
If he/she does it again let me know and I'll go round and beat them up for you. Glad you're feeling better today, keep smiling.:A

Perhaps there is more going on than I understand, there seems to be trolls about (but aren't they on every forum?) and regulars are getting upset with PM's from these people. Perhaps a little of closing of the ranks is what is happening, I dunno really.
It's been rumoured that some of the creeps on here regularly meet in the woods when it's a full moon, dance naked drinking IRN BRU
You won't get an invite, me neither ! suits me I hate the stuff0 -

Know what you mean but if they had some tizer.....0 -
Missed all the fun, but just like to add my support now - don't go Doozer, MSE needs normal people :A0

well overall I quite enjoyed this thread. Not meaning to have the last word or 'owt, but it made a nice change from the pantomine of 'House price crash is here!" - "oh no it's not" - "oh yes it is".....
Right, anyone else fancy bearing their soul ?
(DG, - all meant in light hearted jest).0 -

Yes, I'd very much like to meet up with some of the people on this board. No, I don't want to be sent messages that make me wonder what would happen if I did.
I feel pretty betrayed by the AE's that post threads purely to launch into me. I have no idea what your sick motivation is, but please feel happy that I am devastated, shaking and in floods of tears. I have no doubt that you are the same person.
Cal me immodest, I may spout my own fair amount of !!!!!!, but I know that I have genuinely helped people and that I always genuinely try. I have learned so much from people here too and now I'm actually being bullied and I'm not quite sure why.
I'm sure I read as being totally irrational but if you know my posts, then I'm sure you know they and I are not this incoherent usually. I feel like I need to leave the board, but why should I when I see people's stories unfold, gain enjoyment from the good, the informative, the clever and the funny people here?
What have I done?I'd very much like it to stop.
I'm going to be honest. I find you very rude in some of your posts. You are helpful to some, but if you see a post you don't like (two of mine for starters) you are quite rude and you don't even know me!!!!
Perhaps you should think before you post and think how your views come across. After all, this board is all about freedom of speech.0 -
get a grip I think the biggest problem just goes to show that women and technology don't mix, they're too easily offended and unless you've got internet access in the kitchen you shouldn't be on here anyway!
and they're all highly strung, wrong time of the month (is there ever a right time?)
oh where'e the good old days where, women's squabbles are sorted out by mud wrestling.
bah women's rights have turned this country crazy, next you'll be wanting equal pay and the right to vote!
women get back to the ironing!CB1979 has some very good points here
thank you, I often do, but people are just too ignorant to see it! :rotfl:0 -

Doozergirl, 99% of the time you are warm, friendly and helpful but you do seem to have a large ego and sometimes you let it get the better of you.
If someone disagrees with your opinion it's almost as if you take it as a challenge to your authority and you then become patronising and belittling.
Most people will have a rant back and then forget about it but unfortunately there are those who always want to take it a step further. There is no excuse for this but i'm afraid that is human nature.
Doozer, stick to the 99% and try to Iron out the 1% nastiness. If you think someone is a fool try and be a bit more subtle about telling them.
Don't leave the forum, you'll miss it and we'll miss you. There is no doubt you are an expert at what you do and your advice is very much appreciated.
Pretty much sums up what I was trying to say.0 -
I look at this board often (as I'm buying/selling at the moment) and also ask questions if I need advice or I genuinely don't know the answer to something house buying/selling related. I also chip in now and then if I know an answer. After I have completed on my house, I will no longer continue to look at this forum, as I would have no reason to.
I have no interest in becoming a personality on this forum or indeed any other. I have my own friends and I don't consider people I don't know or even met as friends, maybe others do? I always find it a little strange when forum members arrange to meet up, does anyone else feel like this? I have absolutely no personal interest in anyone here and find it difficult to understand why anyone else would. It seems a bit sad to be honest.
The abusive PMs are 100% wrong, but you've just opened yourself up for a torrent of abuse now, as these people know it upsets you. Just ignore them and they will stop.
Just forget about it, it's just people you don't know and they don't know you.0
