Well that's poo!
When the refund comes through, I'll raise a dispute through my credit card provider to try and get the booking fees back that way.0 -
Surely they can just refund the whole amount and charge Adele for any losses?Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

songkick sent me an email today confirming this0 -

I've had my email from Songkick on the 7th but still waiting for the refund to appear on my credit card.....
Glad to see that Eventim changed their stance on the booking fees!0 -

phoned paypal who were helpful & didnt just say I had to send a new payment as I was half expecting
they tried to manually refund the payment but apparently the system simply wouldnt allow it due to the 180 days limit - so basically looks like there is absolutely no way round this
instead they did the next best thing which was to credit the fee on the original payment to my account & then ask me to send a personal fee free payment to the buyer
not ideal as 'in theory' the buyer can still attempt a visa chargeback on their original payment even after my refund0 -
Could Adele... "Remedy" the situation. ; ) She was busy "Chasing Payments"...Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. Your statutory rights are not affected.0

I do like it when ticket touts end up out of pocket
The number of tickets being resold makes it harder for genuine fans to see the artists, and I applaud the work of acts like Ed Sheeran where the venue only allows named people in.0 -

Also it's not only good for trying to stop ticket touts. It's also good for security and in an event of a fire or a freak/extreme disaster then there is a record of who is at the venue.Work to live= not live to work0 -
hi, wonder if any one can help or shed any light on my seller's actions.
I bought Adele tickets for the cancelled Saturday via SeatSurfer, using paypal to pay.
I asked on 13th July if he'd heard about a refund yet and he informed me that he hadn't had one yet.
I asked who he bought them from but instead of answering, he asked me for my bank details. (19th July)(I thought this sounded dodgy)
I said that it needed to be paid via paypal and he said that was fine.
On 30th July I asked what the delay was as I still hadn't received a refund.
He didn't reply so on 3rd August, I asked again.
He's now saying that he told me he 'needed to update something to make it work'. I haven't received any message about this prior and he hasn't told me what he is talking about.
I was fed up with the delays so I put in a dispute with paypal, as advised by SeatSurfer.
Now he keeps saying I'm making it complicated and I should withdraw the claim so he can refund me.
Sounds to me like he's trying to avoid getting a 'black mark' from Paypal due to my dispute and probably avoid refunding me too. I'm assuming he would have refunded me already if he were genuine.0
