OK, Basically i have a credit card and am now being charged interest on it (after a interest free period). i have tried and cant get enough of a credit card balance from other lenders to cover my current owed amount... My interest rate is at 18.9%. any advice on how i can bust thru this credit card paying as little interest as possible? I cant get a credit card to do this, so please any help!

Pay as much as you can, as early as you.
Don't put any new spend on it.0 -
possible a lower interest loan , but if you are getting refused for credit cards I assume their are issues on your credit reportEx forum ambassador

PLEASE ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS BELOW
How much do you owe?
How many applications for other cards have you made?
Who owns the credit card you have the balance on? (i.e. Barclaycard, Tesco)
What is your current balance owing / total credit limit?
Please list all other credit card limits along with outstanding balances (if you have any).
Do you have any other loans / overdraft / car finance etc?
Do you have any late payments / defaults / CCJs?
What is your annual salary?

hi wasnt refused but limit offered £800 short of that required,0

Please don't say you declined it...0

i cancelled the application so yeh i probably did to them "decline" it. but it seemed daft to do a transfer for some of the balance not all of it..?0

That was daft. You could have BT'd all but £800 of the balance and then looked for a solution for the rest.
Why do you think saving no money is better than saving some money?
Now you're one application in, and no cards.
I would try one more time (but with another provider, obviously). Take what you're offered - if anything now - and go from there.0 -
OK fair enough, was a silly decision in hindsight just hoped someone else would offer the full amount and i wouldnt be juggling payments for 2 cards type of thing0

Transferring part of it does reduce the amount of interest that you would be paying.
