The 1st one was bought from eBay, £35 I think. I have the proof of purchase In which I sent to Swan at the time. Then Swan sent me out a replacement for the faulty one as it had been 2 years.

    Hooe that makes sence
Then it's the ebay seller, assuming they are a trader and still in existance, that you need to seek a remedy from.

But as I said earlier, any refund can be reduced to take account of the use you have had.
After three years I would expect a refund to be £10 or less.
You need to decide if it's worth it.
  • Wonderful thanks for your reply. Greatly appreciated. I normally wouldnt make a fuss. But the fact it's happened twice there's obviously a fault with the actual kettle.

Have you actually read all the posts?
  • I've had it less than 11 months!
  • Thanks for your info. Nice that there's one normal person out there with genuine help.

Consumer Rights wise you've had it two years and 11 months, which is what matters.

You paid for a kettle. You have had use of a kettle for 2 years 11 months. The fact that they replaced it is irrelevant, your original contract still stands.
  • OK thanks to the kind individuals with helpful information. Fully understand.

Maybe the others go get a life instead of wasting your own time commenting on my post.
No need for anymore silly comments from the sad people who feel the need to be rude.
