    Sadly no picture rails.

    I ended up drilling holes in the wall, inserting rawl plugs, then inserting screws with a small gap left for the string of the frame to hang on.

    If the wallpaper isn't yet on, how about first fixing some thin steel sheet or mesh on the brick, then using magnets like on a fridge ?
    I haven't tried it, but it makes sense.
