If they offer you at least twice the value and ask for lawyers fees or whatever fees in advance then they are not legit.
Sorry, it’s a jungle out there no more Christmas trees.
They are better and better every time .1 -

In February you said this: "I guess anybody offering to buy any GWD assets are scammers?"
So you have answered your own question already.Hi. Thank You for your response. No, they did not. So, my question remain and yes, I remember what I wrote, which was also a question BTW, but that does not mean I'm not curious about who contacts me and by being curious I do not mean that I am going to send them money or anything like that. My understanding is that we all here agree on that.

Yes, I agree. Just curious to see who contacts me. No offer was made, anyhow.....at least not so far. Regardless, I'm not sending any money to anybody in any case....even in the very unlikely case that I receive a legit offer. Thanks. ;-)

Frugio said:HI. Got contacted by a company, Haras Investments. Anybody heard of them? Checking on different venues is they are legit. Thanks. There is no company called Haras Investments listed on the FCA register (also searched by company number and no match). So, they are not authorised to retail investment products to UK consumers. There is a genuine company of that name with a long history. It just isn't authorised to retail investments in the UK.However, the website harasinvestments.co.uk was only set up on 30th March 2020 and only one year bought. Only the .co.uk domain was purchased (the .com is available). On this site it refers to itself as Haras Investments. There is also another site haras.co.uk that was also set up in March 2020 with 1 year purchased with a totally different skin and used godaddy as the domain registrar. Claims to be the same company but different logo and no telephone number. No compliance messages in the footer. On this site it refers to itself just as Haras. The activities it says it does on this site would require FCA authorisation. Which it does not have. With the number of clone scams going on, there is enough to be concerned that you are not being contacted by the genuine company but by a clone scam. (i.e. no FCA authorisation despite saying they do things that require it, multiple websites with different logos, domains only just bought and just with 1 year and you being contacted directly). If you were scammed once before, then you usually end up on a mugs list and that is sold to other scammers.

Thank You. Yes, you are right. I noticed that. I didn't noticed the other website, though.I was curious to see also if anybody else has been contacted or why they keep picking up my number in particular. At any event, it does remain what you said which hopefully will also be useful to anybody else who reads here. Thanks again.

Thank you all for sharing your info. My scammers were using the name of a big Hong Kong Company ( which I knew then) they had a very educated British accent . You can join the FB group who seems to have a lot more details0
