Gladstones solicitors - court threat

Hi all

I just wanted to query something.
I have also received an letter today from the above company stating that I am to pay £160.00 otherwise I will be taken to court.
However this letter and the previous letter before from other companies have always spelt my name wrong. My name is in fact Cole and they have been spelling it Coel.
Would this still stand or would this void the previous letters and the increase.

I parked in Cartmel race course. September 2020, tried to make a payment using my bank payment card. The card was declined, wiped the card entered all the details again, card was declined. Took my wife's card back to the same machine, entered the details again the card was declined. Took the card to another payment macine , where there was a queue of six people in front of me, all having trouble making a payment. It took some considerable time to reach the payment machine. Tried again to make payment with both cards again declined. Retuned to the car searched for coins to make a payment, wanted about five hours, only had enough for three hours. Again stood in a queue waiting to make a payment. Cash was successful. Unfortunatelyhad over run the fifteen minutes allowed to make the ,payment.. so have been issued with a pcn. Have appealed to HX , who state all machines were working correctly. They were not. Appealed through theias, they also rejected the appeal based on evidence provided by HX. I have elected to go to court
