Morning
Last couple of days have been great, emotions up and down but isn't that Xmas.
So OH & I went to the Waterfront in Belfast on Thurs night for the Ulster Orchestra Xmas annual concert. It was fantastic and they had a guest performer AJ Casey - I've never heard of her but she was fantastic and had such a presence and voice. OH & I wandered round the Xmas market and went out for dinner before the concert.
Yesterday was much quieter, a quick tidy up and a final check of the Xmas pressies. I wrote a shopping list last night and will be hitting the shops very soon. Quick dash into Mr T and out again before the madness starts. Pop into volunteer place for about 5 mins. Take Mum over to the monastery and then pick up a wreath for Dad's grave. Make a cheesecake and Delia Smith's cabbage and apple recipe for the big day and then put feet up with a glass of prosecco0 -
Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas xxx0

Thanks Purple and have a wonderful Xmas as well.
Yesterday was a busy but productive day. I got to Mr Ts with my shopping list and the place was heaving. I then popped into my volunteer place and approved everything that needed approved. Stopped at Lidl and got their pretend Baileys at a 1/3rd of price of real stuff. I can't tell the difference and when it's put into a cheesecake I don't think it really matters.
Picked up Mum and got her shopping sorted and one very large turkey back safely to her house.
Afternoon was spent making a huge cheesecake, pickle thing and icing 2 Xmas cakes. I am now totally in the Xmas mood. Most of my family seem to be heading to 6pm mass tonight and going to our local church so that will be fun. All the kids dragging their parents back home to get to bed. Shame that only happens once a year.
So now I have to sort out what will be worn today and tomorrow and give out the last of my pressies. Most of the other Xmas prep can be done in the morning. Have a wonderful Xmas Eve to anyone reading:santa2:

Thanks WbF & have a lovely Xmas as well.
Been to mass this morning with Mum and now have a full carload tonight as I want to go to the early Xmas mass with about half the country. It will be a squeeze but means I get to spend the rest of the evening in my good warm house and don't have to be up early tomorrow.
Saw my brother this morning and he's not quite finished his Santa shopping... I don't envy him and my sis in law hitting the shops today.
Doing a wee inventory of smellies that I don't need to buy until hopefully the end of January and certainly in the case of hair dye not until half way through the year. OH interrupted half way through so it's still a work in progress.

Hair serum - 4(buy when I see it on offer but 4 is a bit much)
