Accident on left turn

  • Totally confused. How did you hit her if you didnt move?

And what happened ten minutes before is of no consequence.

Sounds 50:50 to me from what you've said, she shouldn't really have been there but if your observations had been better you would have seen her and not hit her.

Did you drive into them or did they drive into you?

So you're about to turn left but you stop to allow someone to cross the road. Driver behind believes you are parked, over takes and takes the left turn in front of you:

So either, you were starionary and hit. Or you then carried out the left turn without checking mirrors/blindspots.

Post a broken link with a gap in it and someone can put it up for you.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I saw her on my side wouldn't see in a mirror as she was door to door to me, but yes I believe she thought I was parked in the middle of the junction. Worth to say as well that there were no cars directly behind me, so for me if she was turning left should stop behind me on the left lane. I was already moving When she turned

Hope I am not the only one who is confused.

I have no idea what happened.

I do know that junctions outside schools are accidents waiting to happen as irresponsible drivers will park all the way around blind junctions (much closer to junctions than the highway code says is allowed).

It does seem in this case one driver thought a vehicle was parked and the other driver wasnt looking.

who hit who, when and where and how is the question
