It's not one day, where I live we had Armed Forces Day about three or four weeks ago!

Not sure why you think that anyone 'should' go.

He had a personal invitation from an ex-serviceman.

Also thought Nile Rodgers and Chic were the highlight of the entire thing.

Well of course they would have been!

    Stop rubbing it in!

It's only available online through iplayer, I had never watched BBC3 before.

Yes, I know. Another complaint of mine is that BBC3 (and red button) channels do not appear to be listed in the RT. I suppose Beeb3 is not technically a TV channel but the red button is.

I didnt see it listed anywhere either just looked up the line up, saw Chic were on at (x time) then played around with all channels till I found which one was showing them live.

Did someone else say they were the Highlight?

    they were indeed :T:T

But it is all live.... he doesnt use backing tracks, he uses a loop pedal, perhaps you need to have a google at it to see.

It was an interesting novelty ten years ago, now it's just cheapskate, predictable and boring. Nothing beats a live band, nothing, true individual virtuosity and musicality can't be reproduced by a tape loop.

He was so boring I turned off after 30 mins, god helps if Ed Sherran is the pinnacle of talent in british music,

Basically my point exactly! Why does the BBC give this crap (Chic and Nile Rogers excepted) so much coverage?

    I'm getting increasingly annoyed...

    I care not
Went once , got the t shirt.
    Shock registered then.
  • I was going to post this last Monday but forgot.

We were walking past HMV and my wife pointed out an advert something like "All your great festival anthems blah blah blah."

"They should have been with us in a basement listening to the Clash 40 years ago" she said.

Haven't agreed with her so much for a long time...
