Those many who dont believe in its existence are the true !!!!!!, especially if they cause you to be upset with their narrow minds. But I'm glad that you are finally getting answers. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I will delete if the poster concerned wishes.
1 in 4 people suffer from mental illness in the UK at one time. There is nothing to be ashamed of in admitting it and talking about it, especially as it is something that can affect any of us.
If the poster concerned needs to talk, we have ‘the other place’, which is much more private.💙💛 💔0 -
Many people "don't believe it exists" ... and those that "do believe it exists" will only believe it if you can say "Yes, I've been tested"
You're mixing with different people from me, then. I've never met anyone who doesn't believe it exists. I have several friends with kids whom it affects, and everybody I know accepts that it's real, whether officially diagnosed or not.
Hoping for some helpful outcomes of the eventual appointment.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

That was the last time my friend EVER ... even thought about putting the two of us in the same room together ever again.
What I WANTED to say ... immediately ... but didn't ... was: "And I can see that you don't believe DIETS exist either do you, you fat, ugly, bleach-haired, patronising, pointless waste of space."
I bit my tongue and just thought it instead
One stupid person's opinion does not a fact make.

It certainly exists irrespective of whether any particular person chooses to believe in it or not.
TBH, I'm amazed anyone can disbelieve it.There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

My ex husband and ex mother in law were amongst those who believed it didn't exist. Ex husband only acknowledged two of the boys had it when he was trying to win over one of their friends (years after we split). Before that, both he and his mother said that they had nothing that a good smack wouldn't sort out.
The blame was laid firmly at my door because of my 'namby pamby' parenting, apparently I had made them autistic. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Joe is coming home today for Easter.....the child who couldn't wait to get out of our village/town because it is so boring, cannot wait to be home for a while and is beyond excited.
The reason? He's missed the cat! :rotfl:We made it! There are some people in this world who are not only stupid and ignorant, but also opinionated and offensive. One of the keys to a happy life is not to take any notice of what they think.

Not surprised. It's not possible for my opinion of that man as a father to sink any lower than it already has on the basis of what you've told us before.Joe is coming home today for Easter.....the child who couldn't wait to get out of our village/town because it is so boring, cannot wait to be home for a while and is beyond excited.
