I remember that! It was a colossal spaceship but you only ever seemed to see one room. Which was the opposite of other TV spaceships of its day ships like the Jupiter 2 which had far too many rooms for its size.

Pastures, was it the mobile they rang?
Terrible nuisance, that. It probably rang while you were outside checking a smear on the window.
Please don't wear yourself out going to such lengths to clean the house. Unless the windows are obviously dirty, people simply won't notice, you know.
Similarly, a tidy house is good, with no obvious dirt or mess, but again, people just won't notice the odd crumb on the carpet, certainly not on a first viewing.
Might be an idea to slip the phone into a pocket when a viewing is expected, otherwise it's bound to ring downstairs when you're upstairs 'busy' in the loo! :rotfl:
Just a thought...... if it was the landline that rang/didn't ring..... how many extensions do you have? It might be to do with the REN number of the line. I have four extensions, and I've noticed that one or other of them doesn't start ringing at the same time as the others. It doesn't matter if the house is quiet, as I hear the others ring first.(I just lurve spiders!)

The only other time I "left the house" was to carry a trug of grass cuttings to the car and walk back, so still "in earshot" enough to have heard it.Please don't wear yourself out going to such lengths to clean the house. Unless the windows are obviously dirty, people simply won't notice, you know.

I did phone it from my mobile; I heard a half ring on the mobile, then a full ring on the mobile just as the home phone started ringing.
Bottom line is: They had over 3.5 hours to phone again, for something "important" and they didn't.0 -

You don't know what people will spot/focus on ... I know it's all a blur, so I just try to minimise the opportunity for most things to not stand out.
True, but nobody is not going to buy a house because a window is a bit smeary, or because there are a few specks on a carpet. :A(I just lurve spiders!)

Strange, you'd think things would have started picking up again, now Spring is here, especially with all the sunshine there's been lately.(I just lurve spiders!)

I've wanted a rug for ages, but it had to be "the right one" as rugs are very expensive, so I couldn't just get "a rug".
I do have "a rug" upstairs, rolled up, because it's HUGE and too big for this room (door wouldn't open and it'd have to go under a couple of bits of furniture which then creates a cleaning/vacuuming faff....
So, I decided to just knock one up. I used to do rug making about 50 years ago, never finished one, of course.... but I had an idea of how to knock up a quick rug. First though, to give it a quick test re speed, I thought I'd just pop into £land as they have wool. Looked at their website and there it is, picked my two colours and trotted off.... got there and... neither colour in stock. So I'm home now with "two wrong/any coloured wool" just to see if I CBA to actually knock up 3 new rugs
I've also got something to substitute for the canvas ..... rugs in a hurry are us
EDIT: Ah, need better scissors... got some somewhere.... wonder where. "Packed" is the answer. I'll take a rest now then.0
