    Happy Christmas, everyone - belatedly.

    Merry Christmas everybody!

Oh, I'd thought that Outer Herts was just the home counties that aren't Herts - which is why I have previously declared my location to be Outer Outer Herts :rotfl:

I'm sure Generali would be familiar with this naming convention. It's similar to how Tasmanians call the rest of Australia "North Island".;)

Merry Christmas to all. Hope you have a wonderful day.

Welcome to the NPT Hornet Saver. From your name are you Inner Herts, defined by this thread as Hertfordshire; or Outer Herts, aka everywhere else in the world? And Merry Christmas Generali, wherever you are.

Christmas gives me the rare pleasure of saying Inner Herts. Sadly it's rarely the case anymore, for reasons best summed up by the title of this forum.

Welcome back to Inner Herts, Hornet Saver. My bro went to the match tonight, and not to support Chelsea. Unlucky.

My daughter got engaged to her Italian boyfriend today.
Looks like a wedding on an Italian lake (her choice, not his) in 2020. Should be fun!

Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
