Why is the far side of the moon known as the dark side? The moon always shows the same side to the Earth, so there's half that you can never see from the earth. But that's no darker than the side you can see from the earth.
Or, does logic not come into it?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Supposedly because we don't know much about it, similar to quite a few aspects of the historical period referred to as the dark ages.
Besides, The Other Side of the Moon would have been a daft title for what became a band's best-selling album, also with probably the simplest yet most distinctive album cover of all time0 -
Dunno, she hasn't logged on since Monday
She was upset by being PPR'd and scared of it happening again, and it's destroyed a lot of her pleasure in MSE.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

Good to know that PN is back. The cause of her enforced holiday still seems to be here and is still a mystery to me, although for some reason the person respobsible ignores me completely. Will send her a message.0
