    That poses a question:
Is dead on 12:00 midnight the end of Monday or the beginning of Tuesday? :D
Or is it a twilight zone where it is both and neither? :D

I guess that it is a twilight zone - but measured in n micro-micro-milli-seconds, so too short to worry about ;)

    Happy New Year!

Sitting by open caravan front door this morning and a barn owl swooped over our deck then flew up and over the hedge into next field. :j Saw it hunting in next field for a while later too.

I gather that yesterday was the only day when every adult had been born in the second millennium and every child in the third.

Depends upon which definition of millennium you use - zero-based or one-based, i.e the changeover being 1999-2000 or 2000-2001.

If you work on the "correct" one, one-based, then the statement is correct.
However, if you work on the popular one, zero-based, then it was Jan 1st last year - and all the millennium celebrations were a year out too :D

Ignore the micro-micro-milliseconds at your peril, little grasshopper!

    Ooh! Sweet!
I've never seen an owl in the wild, so to speak, just at bird sanctuaries.

Happy New Year All, I'm working tonight at our new place in Outer, Outer, Herts, while Mrs McT works at our first place in Outer Herts, so won't be around for the midnight hour.

But I wish everyone a happy and prosperous New Year.

    Ooh! :j

Outer, outer Herts must be beyond the known Universe!

    How did you get there?
Do you have a Universe-class starship?
Or do you know the location of an inter-Universe wormhole?

Do tell, 'cos me want go there!
