More to the point, it comes with a set of four cartridges that can be ebayed for around £50-60.
I thought new printers came with small cartridges that needed replacing almost immediately?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. It's an A3 colour printer with scanner and ADF, for just £20 after cashback. So, it's very cheap. More to the point, it comes with a set of four cartridges that can be ebayed for around £50-60. What you do with the unused printer is up to you. Take it to the dump, perhaps, as it's a big beastie.
The maximum number of cashbacks per person is only 5, or I expect Curry's would have sold out by now.
The question about whether it's a good printer doesn't come into play, because in the zany world we live in you would not print anything with it, as that would involve opening the ink cartridges.
It looks very tempting. I wonder if it does double-sided scanning. It's really hard to find out about that for most printers. Do any NPs know of any good all-in-ones they could recommend?
I despair at the gigantic economic effort we put into meeting needs the manufacturers had to manufacture. Exactly how many types of printers do we need to have to choose from?
Pyxis, music stands can be even more useful if you can fit a laptop on them. More people need to type /use a laptop while standing nowadays. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

Re. double-sided scanning..... my Epson MFC does that. It's getting a bit 'old' now, though.... it's 4.5 years old, and it's getting harder and more expensive to find the inks. It's a great machine, though, and is wifi. I use it a lot for all its functions, including the fax!
Can't remember the model number offhand......it's downstairs and I'm in my nice warm bed! I'll find out later.
Edit.....oh! I forgot! The details are on this iPad.......silly me.
It's the WF-3520.
Re. music stands......I have a stand onto which I can fix my iPad. It's also a mic stand. The attachment to fix the iPad onto the stand was very expensive, but worth it for my purposes.
The orchestral stand I have is very solid and robust, and would take a laptop, I would think.(I just lurve spiders!)

Got it
Not a printer, to actually be used, by somebody with few printing needs, in a limited space/house.
I've seen several printers on Freegle over the last few months. If you find it doesn't suit after all, you can just take it to the tip!(I just lurve spiders!)

DPD is so exciting:
Robert is currently making delivery number 86, you are delivery number 99.
Robert is approximately 45 minutes away from you.
You can watch Robert's progress on our map.
Some of the words are a bit long, but they are nice, short sentences. A bit like Peter and Jane. The punctuation is a bit off, though. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

I remember when we moved from our Victorian flat into the rabbit hutch of our first house. You could fit the entire downstairs of the house into the front room of the flat, unfortunately we also had furniture to suit a large Victorian flat rather than a 1980's house.
I would love to go back to the roominess of that flat but not the freezing coldness of the two winters we spent there with no central heating and single pane sash windows, we had ice on the inside!
Update on dad - He's doing well, all dressings off and his healing is so good it looks more like post op 10 or 12 days instead of 6 but then he always was a quick healer. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Talking of new builds having small rooms and stretching the truth re the measurements, there are some new builds near us, every room loses a corner but the cut out bit is just less than half the wall so they then quote the max dimensions..,..I think....0

It does get more exciting as you follow Robert's progress...... round and round, so near yet so far, round and round all the adjacent roads, then suddenly Robert veers off to a road further away.
Don't forget me, Robert!
Then, at about the 30 minutes away mark, it all goes quiet. Robert is spending a bit of time in one place.
Is Robert having his lunch, or does he have a ladyfriend in the vicinity?
Then the round and round starts up again. Robert is coming nearer! Then Robert's a bit further away....???
Then Robert's a bit nearer!!
In the the end, the excitement of guessing which direction Robert's circuitous route will take next all gets too much, and you stop looking at the live map.
Just as well, because with 10 minutes to go, there is a ring at the door.
Robert is early! Good job you didn't go to the loo, then!
Well done, Robert!
You need a good strong cup of tea, now, after all this excitement, and a sit down. Opening the parcel will have to wait.(I just lurve spiders!)
