freshly cooked camembert was being offered ... and more maltesers.

"stockpile food" in a desperate Brexit "we won't have any food" warning :)

I am almost certain that stockpiling camembert will not end well...maltesers on the other hand can still be eaten well past their best before date - if only they ever lasted that long.....
    I think....

Pastures I'd never heard of him either.
    So had to google.
Still don't really know, as I was never into those bands.

So, will his presence increase or decrease the value of your house? :D
Presumably no ferals with him, so no fear of that sort of disturbance, but maybe loud rock music at 2am? :D
Or strange-looking plants in the garden?

Zagubov..... there must have been a reason why those receivadors didn't stand the test of time, as on the face of it, they are a great idea. However, I suspect that the reason was that, despite the manufacturers saying that the inner door couldn't be opened when the outer door was locked, too many burglars did manage to achieve that.
Same goes for dog-flaps. (Unless you have a chihuahua).

Either that, or delivery-men couldn't read/couldn't be bothered to check that the outer door was properly closed, and passers-by just helped themselves.

    No. Isn't it WONDERFUL! :)

On the surface, from what I've observed and now "seen"... a very softly spoken, polite, affable, intelligent, pleasant, welcoming, humble ... OAP and his very pleasant, quietly spoken, welcoming, open wife.

No trouble expected.... none seen, none heard.

    "Nothing going on here officer"

Certainly people who, when you first meet them, feel like "old comfortable friends" from the off.

Stable appearing; not chaotic. "Got their shyt together" types. No airs, graces, no foulness. You'd cross the street to say "Hi" instead of ducking into a doorway and keeping your head down (like I'd do with most).

You may change your mind when he practices his guitar, and the whole street shakes?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

.... don't know him from Adam.

I presume that I've missed something that you've deleted, so why the reference to the former bass player from UFO and Fastway?

Has he been to have a shufti at your house, or does he live next door to one that you were considering buying?

In the spirit of Black Friday, I have ordered 2 mattresses, each with a 100 day trial period. (Well, 3 actually, as one of the orders seems to be duplicated.)

    Thanks for the PM, PN.

Seems you have struck gold there.....knowing you have nice neighbours has the urgency to move reduced?

Don't talk to me about Black Friday.

I was after a couple of pairs of joggers, that I've already tried and tested, from Sainsbury's.
Online, they were reduced by 25%. But I couldn't find any way to apply my triple nectar points voucher, despite it clearly saying 'online or instore'.
So I went to a store. I checked at customer services that I could use the voucher for clothing. Yes.
Instore they were reduced by 25%, but they didn't have them in my size.
So I went to another store. They didn't have them in my size either.

What you gonna do? Stack 'em all on top of each other and see if you can feel the pea that you put under the bottom mattress?
