Yes, hospitals do discharge at weekends. I saw this on Sunday evening 12 days ago. Bloke was gleeful and was muttering about 15 pints of beer. This was an acute cardiac ward!
Bloke in the bed opposite was having McDonald's brought in by his children and grandchildren. Not just once but for three days.
You really could not make it up.

He came home. The difference in him between yesterday and this afternoon is actually quite startling, yes he is tired that is to be expected but he is not doddery, or confused, or breathless or in pain, he even surprised the physio by being able to use the full flight of stairs with absolutely no issues, blood pressure or mobility wise at all (well barring his historical disabilities of a stroke impacted left leg and a reconstructed and restricted right leg although he managed it better than he has in ages!)

He's got to take it easy of course but he has surprised everyone (yet again)
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I gave up on those flimsy music stands, and bought a more expensive but durable orchestral stand, you know...one with a solid bit for the music to go on. Not quite so portable, though, I'll grant you that, but no risk of it going flopbot.
    :D

They aren't for me they are for the charity where I volunteer. I buy them and then donate them. There isn't space to store music stands unless they fold up. I buy them on ebay so that people know you don't have to spend a lot of money on equipment like music stands. It is important if people don't have much money.

    What's specific to Michaels

A wireless printer is on my list of "it'd be handy if I had a printer.... and therefore a wireless printer so it could be out of sight/not under my feet in the living room".....

Although I do see in that "bit pricey and colour, don't NEED colour"

Is that a cheap printer? A good one?

I've not actually ever got round to even looking for a wireless printer... I've not had a printer for about ... 15 years.

It's an A3 colour printer with scanner and ADF, for just £20 after cashback. So, it's very cheap. More to the point, it comes with a set of four cartridges that can be ebayed for around £50-60. What you do with the unused printer is up to you. Take it to the dump, perhaps, as it's a big beastie.

The maximum number of cashbacks per person is only 5, or I expect Curry's would have sold out by now.

The question about whether it's a good printer doesn't come into play, because in the zany world we live in you would not print anything with it, as that would involve opening the ink cartridges.

Ah, got it... it's a chance for M to profit from ordering as many as he can buy ... and flog on ebay.

    Got it :)

Not a printer, to actually be used, by somebody with few printing needs, in a limited space/house.

I'm afraid that's quite correct. Why HP can't just dole out a few cheques and save all that landfill is beyond me. :)
