Would you consider a 55+ property? Kids tend not to be allowed to stay for any long period and unlikely to have noisy neighbours partying. There are of course downsides too, but might be worth a look. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

No. They come with peculiar leases and high service charges and all sorts.
There are lots of them here .... in fact there's one detached bungalow on a clifftop with panoramic views and well under budget.... but, you're kind of putting your foot firmly in the grave when you make that choice and it's not a choice you can reverse easily due to the terms/conditions and small print.0 -
At least they did give feedback, that's a plus.0

It's good that you, too, are somebody "who has a property on the market that they're getting interest on."

(Hope that mini-quote is okay?)No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
It's like a game of poker isn't it ....
A "competitor", with a better house ... was £15k more than mine, offering a garage/driveway and 3 beds. They've only gone and reduced their price by £10k as "vendor suited" .... oh well ... you have to hold your nerve until it's suggested otherwise
Nothing new today that's made the A list. 3-4 on the B/C list, dismissed for many differing reasons, but nothing that screamed "buy me". There was one that looked like a "buy me" ... but it is on the wrong side of the road, so no good. Orientation is on the critical list.0 -
I bought some colour toners from Amazon. The price was £65, which is about the right price for compatibles. When they arrived, they turned out to be original cartridges from the manufacturer, which seem to sell (if they sell at all, that is) for around £500. I can't make out whether Amazon's programmers need to tweak one of the settings or they just decided to dump some old stock that wasn't shifting on me.
I don't print much colour, anyway, and this is enough for 5000 pages. So, these toners will be part of my kids' inheritance. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
I received a call from the local hospital: "In relation to your recent visit to our accident and emergency department, would you recommend it to friends and family? 1. Highly recommended, 2 Good, 3 Okay ... "
Yeah, right, a great night out. Actually, I would recommend them, so the answer was 1, but what a weird way of posing the question. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

No ‘I’d recommend friends and family don’t need it’?
That seems weird to me too, but at least they’re trying to keep standards up.💙💛 💔0 -

At least they didn't ask you to put in the feedback on Tripadvisor :rotfl:0
