This gives you loads of links even if you don't spell it correctly.

By the way, this Pimms stuff I have been guzzling, does it contain any alcohol? It just tastes like fruit juice. I've had a couple of jugs full, and my typing has gone all to pot.
    Erm, yes! :rotfl: ;)

Plus, I seem to have hiccups.

    I wonder why? :rotfl: ;)

Mind you I can't talk. I had bought some blackcurrant liqueur the other day, and then found a very nice fizzy drink from Sweden flavoured with rhubarb, lemon and mint, nice on its own but extremely yummy when mixed with a bit of blackcurrant liqueur, so I put a little bit of liqueur into a half-pint glass and topped it up to the brim with the fruit thing.
    Yum yum yum.

Then I wondered why, given how little liqueur was in it, I was starting to feel a weeny bit squiffy?
Anyway, went to put the empty fruit drink bottle in the recycling and just happened to notice that it was based on a 4% p/v pear cider!
Hadn't seen that! I had bought it thinking it was a soft drink!

Good job I wasn't driving anywhere!

I could make my own hat ... but I've no material and can't sew.

I could hand sew it ... but it'd look like a dog's dinner.

I picked up a 1litre bottle of Morello Cherry fizzy pop at L (49p). I like black cherry cheesecake and black forest gateau, so thought it worth a punt as they're out of my usual 2litres of ginger beer at 45p. It was rather nice, finished it today. I also got another bottle in the same range of something like elderflower or something. 40 calories a whole bottle.

I'm down to my last 7 2-litre bottles of ginger beer, which should be enough for 2-3 weeks (I stocked up a little when they said there'd be a CO2 shortage). On a real heatwave day I can get through a bottle a day; usually one bottle lasts about a week or so.

    I feel very relaxed.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Don't you hate it in any form of "chat" when you're advised somebody's typing ... and you're waiting.... and waiting .... and nothing's arriving... in FB with some distant relative, I'm tossing her random photos and asking "Is this ...?" and "Do you know who this is?" ... and I've just tossed her a photo of what I think is her uncle... and am waiting to find out if she thinks/knows it is - and if she knows "what happened to him" ... my chart says just birth/death dates and a marriage. No kids. Died young, no idea what of though.

Ah, she confirmed it... all all my guesswork was spot on... but she had nothing to add to what I "knew". At least I know I've got the right person on my chart.

Where has everyone been? Having a life IRL?? On a Tuesday evening??
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

I can't speak for anyone else Lydia, but in my case it is that the minutiae has been so mundane it hasn't been worth commenting on, rather than being out partying on a Tuesday.

My partying the night before a work day times are well and truly in the rear view mirror. I'm more a sofa, book and horlicks person these days (albeit that it's been a bit warm for Horlicks).
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

You could try iced horlicks! :rotfl:

I felt very, very sleepy and lethargic all day yesterday. Mind you, life has been a bit of an emotional roller-coaster lately, for a few weeks, which resolved yesterday, so I maybe I just went flop-bot as a result.

Also, due to cloud cover (but still no rain!), it was a bit oppressive.
