I don't understand that either Jayzee. I met one guy who had his EU flag tied to a Union Jack and had it confiscated for making a political statement about Brexit, and "political statements aren't allowed at Eurovision".
The survey link is in the text of the forum post in a different colour, but wasn't easy to see. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? vivatifosi wrote: »Thanks, that's very reassuring. The security in Portugal was incredibly tight. Reassuring but a bit off putting at the same time. They had these metal devices to stop vehicles charging the roads, chained together and with big metal spikes coming out, huge cordons to get into the event and police everywhere. Not just bag searches but also complete pat downs to get into the arena. It was abundantly clear that Eurovision was a potential target. I've seen high security before, but this was security on steroids.
Israel certainly has vast experience of high security. On these sort of occasions you have to look at the security measures as reassuring rather than threatening. If you let the security worry you, then it's going to spoil your holiday.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I'd like to announce that I found the cordless drill, exactly where it should be (not where I'd thought it might be) .... however ... I'm now not sure if I'd lost that, or the cordless screwdriver.... so now I need to find the cordless screwdriver and get the two together, so I can know that whichever I'd "lost" I've now found
I've now, recently, lost the key to my mailbox.... it has a proper place ... and, for some bizarre reason, it's not there! So today's "find the thing" will be the mailbox key, before I receive mail I cannot retrieve without itMight already be some in there, but I'll never know until I find it.

I'm sure it was the cordless screwdriver that was AWOL.
But, now you have found your cordless drill, you can break into your mailbox. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

I had a quick look for the screwdriver, can't find it ... so that's probably what I'd "lost" all along. There's a chance it's in the understairs cupboard, but it's too daunting to lug everything out of there on the offchance.... I'll get round to it, but I'd end up lugging everything out and leaving it dotted around as "I need to sort that lot out" ... so it's best left where it is for now.
I will find the key - it's not been missing long. I've just checked the pockets of every pair of jeans/shorts I have ... not there.0 -

I was going to do it, but at the mo, am either too busy or too knackered!:D
Made a few notes, so might do it when I'm home. I did ask if it was ok to do from abroad, and they said yes!
Sang with a gospel choir on Saturday, in a castle yesterday, and in the town courtyard today!
With more to come later!
Been practising my very rusty Italian. It's coming back!Had to speak some French on Saturday as well, and to keep switching between French, (which is worse than my Italian), and Italian and in the end my brain exploded!
Pastures, it was deffo the cordless screwdriver you lost, because you were trying to fix your back gate or something, when you lost it.(I just lurve spiders!)
