I got a sliding mitre saw free the other day. DW calls it a Mitosaur and doesn't think I need it. She doesn't understand! But if you like the smell of newly sawn wood, it's great for that.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Lydia, how is the Aged P?

    You haven't mentioned him lately.

Has he got his books sorted out?
Is he enjoying it there even more?

All right, I think. I haven't been to see him for a couple of weeks, but we'll all be seeing him on the bank holiday next week. :)

Lydia DGS has now been assessed for dyslexia and yes, he is dyslexic, as is his sister, though apparently hers is mild. Both children are extremely good at Maths though :D

Hope they get the support they need. :)
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)

Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Looks like a fine day for washing - and I need all my clothes to be clean for the weekend, at short notice. I'd intended to wash them at the weekend ... but now I need them, so today's a washing day.

Sounds fun. I hope the weather is nice. It seems to be warming up over the next few days.

    No :)
I'm not one for live music, although my companion would be if she had a friend who liked live music.

What you said about "no need to clean clothes", that's precisely what my friend said when I said "ooh, need to do the washing then"....
